FROM OPPRESSION TO OPPORTUNITY

a call for attention…
so please..take your time to get to know
what some courageous and determined
people did…they are women who have had
to bare the unbearable.
we could cry with them..
and we must.
but we can also laugh and smile with them..:
for they have dared..to do something..though
it seemed they had no chance to…they did find it.
and some how their deed was recognized and some body
wanted to tell…and so they did..in a book…that was published
just a little while ago..and very soon shall be followed by a
documentary..by the same title..HALF THE SKY.
Its such a beautiful gesture..and it deserves..to be taken into
our hearts..and there..make it impossible not to do our bit.
there are so many listed ideas..about how to do just that.
life is not long enough to reach out for them..but we can chose
some..and swift from thinking talking to doing.
as they did..with so much care.
I do honor every human being who wants to help..and does it.
we need it..to be there for one another..and it might be
it sounds as a fairies tale..but maybe just maybe time will show..
it was not.
